In conjunction with the Nurse Manager, assists in coordinating the day-to-day activities and operations of the Central Staffing Office. Collaborates with float pool team members, nurse educator and other members of the health care team in the delivery of quality patient care. Provides direct leadership in the bed management role as needed. Provides off shift visibility and coverage. Reports to the Nurse Manager. Â

The Central Staffing Office Nursing Float Pool is a team that demonstrates a high level of flexibility, enjoys variety and likes making new friends. The RN and PCA teams float to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and 3 Medical/Surgical Units. The PCA team also floats to the Emergency Department for patient sitting. We provide the opportunity to network throughout the hospital, care for children of all ages and diagnoses, and expand your skills.
