This entry-level role works closely with design engineers to execute structured test plans, collect and analyze performance data, and verify the safety and reliability of products in development. The ideal candidate is a mechanically inclined engineer with a strong attention to detail, hands-on testing skills, and a desire to work on cutting-edge firearms technology. Key Responsibilities Execute engineering test plans for firearms, accessories, and related components under controlled conditions. Set up, operate, and maintain test fixtures, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems to collect accurate and repeatable results. Assist design engineers in collecting performance data to support product development, design verification, and troubleshooting activities. Conduct safety and function testing of products to ensure compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines. Document test setups, methodologies, results, and observations in a clear and organized manner. Participate in root cause analysis for failures and provide feedback to cross-functional teams. Support the maintenance and organization of test ranges, equipment, and instrumentation. Adhere to all company safety protocols, firearms handling procedures, and secure storage requirements. QualificationsRequired Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited institution. Experience: 1–3 years of relevant engineering experience (internships and co-ops included). Fundamental understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and testing principles.
