Position Overview: The primary purpose of this position is to provide quality delivery services for food, mail, equipment, and supplies to and from all Co-op locations.    Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Pick up mail at USPS and deliver it to the administration facility.  Distribute and collect the mail to/from each facility daily Working with the floral departments at each facility, deliver floral arraignments, balloons, gift baskets, and gifts to local (30-mile radius) residents and commercial businesses At each location, inspect and transfer any/all products from one facility/department to another facility/department Deliver food from Co-op Kitchen to all locations Deliver senior/health restriction orders to local companies, private homes and health facilities Ability to cover Delivery Services I and II duties as/when needed Adhere to Co-op food safety standards including HACCP Maintain a clean delivery vehicle, fueled and inspected for the next delivery day Participate in department meetings and training for the purpose of maintaining Co-op standards Work independently, efficiently and with minimal supervision Check Co-op email at least once per week Set standard for expected behavior in adhering to all food safety procedure Participate in department meetings and complete all required trainings for the purpose of maintaining Co-op standards Adhere to all Co-op policies, procedures and employee code of conduct Computer knowledge that includes but is not limited to standard office products such as email, document generation, and spread sheets Other duties as assigned QualificationsRequired Skills/Experience and Attributes: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 5 years’ experience in retail delivery services. High level of knowledge of commercial class 1 and 2 vehicles (<10,000GVWR) General knowledge of mapping, DOT vehicle requirements, and retail operations Must be able to lift up to 40lbs comfortably on a regular basis Must hold a valid driver’s license and be over the age of 18 Must be able to read and follow directions Must be able to communicate clearly and generate written and/or verbal reports Strong attention to detail Excellent follow through   We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
