Horticulture Specialist

Full-Time Seasonal, Hourly, Non-Exempt
III. Job Purpose
The purpose of this position is to be the Horticulture Specialist of the clubhouse grounds and turfgrass facility
IV. Reports to:
Grounds Management team
V. Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities for the Horticulture Specialist is to be detail orientated, dependable, and accountable, possess a high degree of integrity and work well with others. The responsibility’s of the Horticulture Specialist include but not limited to:
- Regular maintenance of all plantings and mulch beds on property as well as outside guest seating areas and walk paths around the Village Clubhouse and Lodge
- Apply fertilizer, pesticides, herbicides and insecticides to all landscape areas
- Watering of all plantings on property
- Removal of any garbage or debris around clubhouse and surrounding area
- Removal of weeds around Village Clubhouse and entrance road
Requirements
VI. Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
- Work outside in all weather conditions
- Work on or near heavy machinery
- Stand for extended periods of time
- Lift a minimum of 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Do repetitive tasks
- Complete tasks in a timely manner
