Trinity Health Of New England is looking for an experienced Inpatient Speech Language Pathologist to join our Inpatient Rehab at Mt Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital. Â
The Speech Language Pathologist is member of a comprehensive care team who identifies appropriate long- and short-term goals and develops treatment plans to respond to those goals for patients with mild-moderate cognitive deficit among other neurological disorders.
What will you do:Â
- Provides diagnostic and therapeutic services to individuals with a wide variety of communication and swallowing disabilities to help patients achieve a maximum level of functional independence.
- Provides professional interaction with patients, family members, interdisciplinary team members, and other staff members and colleagues Provides education and counseling to clients, families and staff. Â
- Documents patient care appropriately in the medical record to comply with the policies and procedures of the department,
- Demonstrates problem solving, conflict resolution, and positive communication through teamwork.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited program with a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- State of CT Speech-Language Pathology Licensure
