Trinity Health Of New England is looking for an experienced Inpatient Speech Language Pathologist to join our Inpatient Rehab at Mt Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital.  

The Speech Language Pathologist is member of a comprehensive care team who identifies appropriate long- and short-term goals and develops treatment plans to respond to those goals for patients with mild-moderate cognitive deficit among other neurological disorders.

What will you do: 

• Provides diagnostic and therapeutic services to individuals with a wide variety of communication and swallowing disabilities to help patients achieve a maximum level of functional independence.
• Provides professional interaction with patients, family members, interdisciplinary team members, and other staff members and colleagues Provides education and counseling to clients, families and staff.  
• Documents patient care appropriately in the medical record to comply with the policies and procedures of the department,
• Demonstrates problem solving, conflict resolution, and positive communication through teamwork.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited program with a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• State of CT Speech-Language Pathology Licensure
