Instructional Designer

Batteries Plus is looking for an Instructional Designer to create engaging and effective learning experiences that help our teams succeed. You'll design, develop, and maintain training content across eLearning, instructor-led, blended, and webinar formats-bringing learning to life for both internal and external audiences.

What You'll Do

• Partner with stakeholders to assess training needs and support ongoing projects.
• Manage timelines for new instructional design requests and content updates.
• Apply instructional design principles to develop webinars, eLearning, instructor-led training (ILT), blended learning, videos, and job aids.
• Design and update training materials for product, operations, technical skills, and professional development.
• Create and maintain content for Train-the-Trainer programs.
• Facilitate webinars and instructor-led training sessions as needed.
• Ensure all training content aligns with adult learning principles and company standards.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Adult Education, Human Resources, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience designing and developing instructional content across multiple formats.
• Proficiency with instructional design tools (Articulate Storyline 360 preferred; Camtasia, Captivate, Photoshop a plus).
• Basic understanding of HTML and LMS course creation and reporting.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional best practices.
