Job Summary/Overview

The primary focus of this position will be picking and replenishing orders for assembly lines and picking/packaging order for replacement part orders for Dorner’s MMC and Parts Picking cells.

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday 

7:30am - 4:00pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Utilize ERP system to track part availability and timing of orders. 
• Communicate with planners and department leads regarding part shortages. 
• Organize and maintain inventory in automated retrieval system.
• Locating and picking parts from various locations including bins and part storage systems.
• Packaging parts of various sizes for intended parts shipments.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, and perform 5S tasks as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Basic computer, measurement, and math skills.
• A team player with excellent communication skills.
• Self-directed with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects at once.
• Ability to be flexible and adjust priories to reflect changing needs or job demands.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to lift/lower/push/pull up to 40 lbs. safely.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred.

Compensation

$19-$20/hour+ depending on experience. 

Additional $0.50/hour split shift premium.
