The Lake CountryLeap Teacher provides a loving, safe, and nurturing environment for children. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide a clean, safe environment for children 0 months-K5 • Follow the curriculum provided • Maintain room and storage area in a neat orderly manner • Collaborate with co-teachers to provide balanced responsibilities • Adhere to policies of Elmbrook Church Kid’s Ministry • Implement established health and safety measures • Implement security system on a daily basis • Greet parents in a warm and friendly manner • Be available to discuss concerns regarding individual children • Be flexible with room assignments and other responsibilities Qualifications• Demonstrate a vibrant and growing relationship with Jesus Christ • Active participant, member or friend of Elmbrook Church who supports and endorses the statement of faith, core values and vision • Knowledge and/or experience in working with young children EMPLOYMENT INFORMATION This position is part-time, hourly and classified as nonexempt, approximately 2-3 hours/week Salary – $15.45/hour REPORTING STRUCTURE The Lake Country Leap Teacher will be accountable and report directly to the Lake Country Children’s Ministry Coordinator of Elmbrook Church.
