Girls' Modified Volleyball Coach

September 2026-November 2026


The Leffell School is a cutting-edge K–12 Jewish independent school serving more than 850 students on two campuses in Westchester County, NY, 30 minutes north of New York City. We are seeking a Coach for our modified Volleyball Team  who can begin in September 2026.


Position Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic Modified Girls' Volleyball Coach  who will engage and inspire students, foster strong communication with parents and colleagues, and contribute to our mission of developing students to become responsible, honest, compassionate, and respectful citizens. 


Responsibilities:

  • Player Development: Train and mentor athletes to improve their skills, fitness, and understanding of the game. 

  • Game Strategy: Develop tactics, formations, and game plans tailored to the team's strengths and weaknesses.

  • Practice Management: Organize and lead regular practices, ensuring both individual and team development.

  • Sportsmanship & Discipline: Foster a positive team culture, enforce rules, and ensure players uphold high standards of conduct.

  • Communication: Maintain strong relationships with players, parents, school administrators, and the community.


Qualifications:

  • CPR/First Aid Certification
