Pay Range: $61,263 - $91,894 dependent on education and experience.

Weekly Earned Wage Access is an option for this position.

Job Purpose or Objective(s): Oversees the daily operation of the residential home living program.

 

Primary Tasks:

  1. Develop policies and procedures for the home living program.

  2. Attending weekly meetings in Administration Office: responsible for making any suggestions and relaying back the information to staff.

  3. Part of the interview team when hiring staff to be a part of the home living staff. 

  4. Provide input to supervisors in designing a work schedule for the dormitory staff.

  5. Make sure the working environment is both safe and friendly for employees and students.  Report any concerns about the proper authority for changes.

  6. Assist dorm supervisors in planning and scheduling activities for appropriate age groups to be put on the JA Calendar.     

  7. Responsible for ensuring student incidents are dealt with in a timely manner and the consequences are handled fairly and consistently. 

  8. Schedule bus evacuation drills with the students.

  9. Make periodic checks of all home living departments to ensure that scheduled activities are being followed. 

  10. Checks to see if employees are following their work schedules and work assignments.

  11. Perform other duties as may be assigned.

     

     

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an applicable discipline from an accredited institution of higher education
  • Ability to multitask within time constraints and set high expectations on self and others
  • Ability to communicate (orally/writing) effectively which includes listening and making difficult decisions
  • Valid driver’s license
  • 5 years of residential Life or Home Living related experience
