Chassis Assembler

Heritage Truck Equipment in Hartville, Ohio is hiring assemblers to the join the chassis assembly department. Benefits include 100% employer-paid medical insurance premiums, monthly attendance bonuses, 401K with company match and more!

Full-time - First Shift - 50 hours/week

Roles & Responsibilities (Sub-Assembly - Training)

• Pre-assemble hydraulic pumps/hydraulic tanks
• Build light panels
• Assemble control towers
• Assemble lift axles/hoists

Qualifications (Sub-Assembly)

• Basic mechanical skills

Roles & Responsibilities (Assembly)

• Assemble chassis according to spec sheet
• Install lift axles, hydraulic systems, control towers, etc.
• Use of torches, plasma cutters and welders
• Run wires and airlines
• Welding and fabricating

Qualifications (Assembly)

• Intermediate mechanical skills
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems a plus
• Welding experience a plus

Other Qualifications (Sub-Assembly & Assembly)

• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Solid work history is a must
• Reliable attendance
• Reliable Transportation
• Provide own tools *list available upon request
• High School Diploma or equivalent
