Job Description

As a Security Officer Visitor Screening in Hartwell, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic automotive location, where you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, and support a professional, welcoming experience for employees and visitors. In this role, you will monitor assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver service with agility, reliability, teamwork, innovation, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badge verification, and visitor processing at an automotive location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and/or contractor logs, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter, including parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and other sensitive locations as directed by site policies.
• Document daily activities, access-related events, and unusual conditions in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site-specific security-related procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
