What You’ll Do

As a Clinician, you will:

• Provides weekly individual counseling to assigned UACs.

• Facilitates group counseling sessions twice weekly.

• Conducts mental health assessments for newly admitted and ongoing UACs.

• Screens for trauma history and indicators of human trafficking.

• Delivers crisis support services and coordinates emergency behavioral health response as needed.

• Documents clinical services in the UAC Portal and confidential health record system.

• Provides child-facing clinical services on-site at the assigned program location.

• Participates in clinical case review meetings and consultation with the Lead Clinician.

• Completes required training on evidence-based practices in mental and behavioral health care delivery.

• Exercise independent judgment consistent with program policy, ORR requirements, and applicable law.

• Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with children, families, and staff.

• Maintain regular, reliable attendance and respond promptly to program needs, including outside standard business hours when required by the role.

Qualifications

Required:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• Master’s or doctorate degree from an accredited program, university, or college in psychology, social work, counseling, marriage and family counseling, or other behavioral discipline requiring clinical experience is a program requirement.Ā 

• Licensed or eligible for licensure in PennsylvaniaĀ 

• Non-licensed staff must be actively working toward licensure and attain licensure within 3 years of the employment date.

• Must exhibit integrity and good moral character appropriate for working with children in a residential or foster care setting.

• Must successfully complete ORR-required background investigations.

• Must provide proof of immunity to vaccine-preventable diseases transmitted by the respiratory route (Varicella, MMR, Tdap, annual Influenza) and comply with all state licensing health screening requirements including TB screening.

• Must complete all ORR-required pre-service training, as required and scheduled by ORR.

• Must sign and comply with CHOR’s Code of Conduct consistent with ORR policy, confidentiality acknowledgement, and mandatory reporter agreement.

• Must disclose any prior misconduct, including conduct occurring off duty, on employment applications and in interviews. Material omissions are grounds for termination.

Schedule

• Full-Time / Exempt

• This position is based across two work locations, Bethlehem and Doylestown. The employee will be required to report to and work from both offices as necessary and assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit at a meeting table or desk, stand, walk, bend, lift, reach, stoop, twist, climb steps, drive a vehicle, and assist individuals as needed.
