Service Technician

Nelson Powersports is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Service Technician to join our Dalton Service Department. You’ll work with a fun variety of Kawasaki and other powersports equipment — including motorcycles, side x sides, jet skis, and ATVs.

We’re looking for someone who knows their way around a machine, enjoys solving problems, and wants to be part of a team where your skills are appreciated and your work makes a difference.

What You'll Be Doing

• Service and repair motorcycles, side x sides, jet skis, ATVs, and other powersports equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and assist with preparing accurate repair estimates.
• Work closely with our Service Advisors to understand and meet customer needs.
• Stay up to date with manufacturer training, technology, and best practices.
• Help keep our shop a positive, productive, and team-oriented place to work.
• Take pride in every job and make sure the customer gets their equipment back ready to ride!

• Has solid experience repairing and maintaining powersports equipment.
• Is comfortable juggling multiple jobs and using diagnostic and computer tools.
• Has a strong eye for detail and takes pride in quality workmanship.
• Is dependable, motivated, and willing to jump in and help the team.
• Has a customer-first mindset and understands that great service doesn't stop when the repair is finished.
• Owns the tools needed to perform the job.
