About the Role:

Join Connect Staffing Agency of Georgia as a Tufting Machine Operator in Dalton, GA! This exciting position offers you the opportunity to work with cutting-edge machinery in a dynamic environment, where your skills will contribute to the production of high-quality textiles.

Shift:
Monday - Thursday
6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
(some Fridays required depending on production/orders)

Responsibilities:

Operate tufting machines to produce carpets and rugs with precision.
Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary for optimal output.
Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure adherence to specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any machine issues.
Adhere to production schedules and meet daily output targets.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Document production data and report any discrepancies to supervisors.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machinery operation preferred.
Previous experience operating tufting machines
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production goals.
Basic mechanical skills for troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if needed.
Must be able to lift and move heavy materials as required.
