Overview
We're hiring a CNC Programmer for our aerospace, defense, and semiconductor precision machine shop outside Philadelphia.
This isn't a desk job where you generate G-code and move on. You'll own manufacturing processes from print to production: programming complex 5-axis milling in Mastercam, designing your own fixturing and tooling in SolidWorks, and proving out programs on the floor with the machinists who run them.
Why Join Us
- Print to production: Own the full process, not just the toolpath.
- Floor time: Prove out your own programs alongside the machinists.
Compensation
- $110k – $140k / yr
Shift
- 1st Shift
- Monday - Friday
Responsibilities
- Programming: Develop and optimize complex 3-, 40, and 5-axis CNC programs in Mastercam.
- Toolpaths: Generate collision-free paths that maximize tool life and efficiency.
- Process Planning: Build complete machining strategies from prints and GD&T callouts.
- Fixture Design: Design workholding and tooling in Mastercam and SolidWorks.
- Prove-Outs: Work at the machine with machinists on new programs.
- Troubleshooting: Fix machining, tooling, dimensional, and process issues live.
- Optimization: Cut cycle times, improve repeatability, reduce manufacturing costs.
- Standards: Document processes and standardize programming methods shop-wide.
