POSITION TITLE: Shipping and Receiving Operator

Strongarm Designs provides the ideal HMI solution to the healthcare, bio-pharmaceutical, food, and manufacturing industries. We are diligently seeking to hire a candidate for Shipping Operator in our Shipping/Receiving Department. This position will ensure the efficient internal and external exchange of components and final products for our CleanMount, Vertica, Mobile Stations, and Suite-Stations product lines. This position is located at our Horsham, PA engineering design, electronics assembly, and metal manufacturing facilities. Strongarm is also looking for a candidate that will adopt a culture of continuous improvement (incremental change, and blame processes, not people).

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position is responsible for packaging product, building boxes, crates, and pallets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accurately clock in and out of work order travelers using the VISUAL barcode system and Augmentir.
• Organize and cycle count inventory.
• Inform quality personnel of non-conforming materials or specifications.
• Assist with receiving inspection.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 0-2 years’ experience in warehouse operations or manufacturing.
• Strong math skills required.
• Ability to read prints, technical drawings.
• Ability to stand for 2+ hours.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Inventory handling experience preferred.
• Shipping experience preferred.
• ERP system experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Experience with calipers, protractors, tape measurer, etc.
