Job Details
- Dedicated grocery account operating within a 350-mile radius of North Hatfield, MA
- Deliver fresh and frozen groceries using reefer trailers
- Frequent deliveries throughout NYC boroughs and Long Island
- Additional routes across NJ, MA, VT, RI, NH, ME, PA, and Upstate NY
- Drivers should expect NYC borough deliveries regularly
- Multi-stop routes averaging 15-20 stops per week
- Assigned automatic day cabs with newer equipment
- Electric pallet jack training provided for occasional unloading assistance
- Occasional backhauls and return product pickups
- Uniforms provided
Shift Details
- Main start time around 2:30 AM
- Sunday off
- Average 12-14 hour shifts
- Home daily, with occasional overnight layovers; hotel provided
- Six-day workweeks required during holiday peak periods
- Holiday schedule may require working holiday nights
Job Requirements
- Valid Class A driver's license
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- Clean driving record
- No SAP drivers
- Reliable personal transportation to and from the account
- Strong customer service skills
- Must be comfortable with frequent NYC-area deliveries
