What you will be doing 

As a Forklift Operator at our dairy facility, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient handling of our dairy products. Your duties will include loading and unloading deliveries, transporting products within the warehouse, and organizing inventory to ensure smooth operations. You'll also conduct routine equipment checks to maintain forklift safety and functionality. Working closely with the warehouse and production teams, you'll play a vital role in maintaining our high standards of productivity and efficiency. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be essential in supporting our dairy production and distribution processes. 

The position will be based in Hatfield, PA. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 12:00pm-8:30pm, with a max payrate of 30.22 an hour.

Main responsibilities 

• This position will be responsible for helping unitizer operators throughout the shift as needed.  

• Including break coverage ensuring all forklift operators get breaks.  

• Adjust support based on Filler SKU production.  

• Responsible for selecting and loading water products, handling all paperwork, and ensuring the correct products are properly billed to our third-party customers using Factory Track.  

• The operator will be responsible for safety pre-checks on Clamps/ Stand up Forklift prior to operating, ensuring any issues are communicated to our Maintenance department.   

• Ensure product scrap and rework are properly staged and documented throughout the shift. 

• Must always maintain and promote a safe working environment and have a safety-first mindset.  

• Follow and maintain 5S standards for work areas and comply with company GMP standards. 

• Other duties as assigned by supervisor. 

What we are searching for. 

• High school diploma or equivalent. 

• Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment preferred. 

• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices. 

• Ability to follow recipes, measurements, and instructions accurately. 

• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy objects. 

• Attention to detail and commitment to quality. 

• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. 

• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced production environment and adapt to changing priorities. 

• Willingness to follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies and procedures. 

• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime as needed.
