POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as Laboratory Technician. This entry-level position provides a fantastic opportunity for those interested in starting a career in a dynamic and growing industry. As a Laboratory Technician, you will support our laboratory operations by performing a variety of tasks under the supervision of experienced staff. This role is ideal for individuals eager to learn and grow within the life sciences and diagnostic products industry. We offer comprehensive training for the right candidate, and no prior laboratory experience is required. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Perform routine laboratory tasks, including preparing samples, conducting tests, and recording results. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Assist in the calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guidelines to ensure accuracy and consistency. Lift and handle materials and equipment, with a maximum weight of up to 50 pounds. Stand for extended periods as required by various laboratory tasks. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient laboratory operations. Filling, labeling, and shrinking of custom chemical orders + stock chemical items. (Paraformaldehyde, Glutaraldehyde, buffers, stains, and fixatives) Maintaining proper paperwork by following company lot # and expiration procedures. Maintaining equipment throughout the day. (cleaning of all used beakers + filling apparatus) Assisting in the operation of lab equipment. (ampoule filler / sealer, ampoule printer, and shrinking machines) Follows all safety guidelines with the use of company supplied PPE. SKILLS AND ABILITIES Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills and a positive attitude toward learning and development. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in a related field is a plus. Strong interest in laboratory work and a desire to pursue a career in life sciences or diagnostic products. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
