What You’ll Do

  • Set up and operate extrusion equipment using computerized controls according to batch card specifications
  • Collect and prepare pre-mix materials to meet production and quality requirements
  • Inspect equipment for cleanliness and readiness, cleaning machinery as required
  • Perform lockout/tagout procedures to ensure safe equipment operation
  • Take product samples during production and deliver to the QC lab
  • Verify product weights and specifications throughout production
  • Safely operate powered industrial trucks to move materials
  • Communicate with lead operators regarding production needs and adjustments
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area through routine housekeeping

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for reliable, safety-focused individuals who are comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

You’ll be successful if you have:

  • Ability to follow written instructions, batch cards, and safety procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • A safety-first mindset and willingness to follow PPE and machine guarding requirements
  • Basic computer and math skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced production setting

No degree or prior manufacturing experience required. Training is provided.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

This is a physically demanding role that requires:

  • Standing and walking for most of the shift
  • Frequent reaching, bending, twisting, and repetitive motions
  • Regular lifting of up to 50 lbs and occasional lifting of heavier materials with assistance
  • Exposure to heat, noise, dust, fumes, and moving machinery
  • Routine use of hand tools, air-powered tools, and cleaning equipment
  • Strict adherence to PPE, lockout tagout, and machine guarding requirements
