POSITION SUMMARY:

 

The Patient Accounts Representative Manager (PAR Manager) is responsible for the management of Patient Accounts Representatives and Business Services.  The PAR Manager is the initial contact for patient, employee, and physician concerns relating to account information.  The PAR Manager must be willing to assume duties of subordinates in emergency situations.

 

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent, required
  • College degree, preferred
  • Two to five (2-5) years of proven experience managing teams within a healthcare setting/healthcare revenue cycle or patient accounts department, required
  • Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and commercial insurance carriers, preferred
  • Strong knowledge of medical billing procedures, insurance claims processing, and collections strategies, preferred

WORK SCHEDULE:

Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
