Driver CDL A B

Description

· Complete and perform pre trip inspections and report necessary repairs.

· Complete daily truck driver logs and make sure delivery sheet as signed.

· Map delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries.

· Pick-up loads organize goods on the truck and secure the load while using straps and/or tarping system.

· Transport delivery load to assigned destination.

· Obtain signatures or warehouse scans to confirm and complete deliveries with clients.

· Communicate with dispatch as needed.

· Maintain and service vehicle as needed (refuel, tire pressure, fluid checks, etc.).

· Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs.

· Track and report working hours.

· Adhere to company rules and regulations.

· Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive according to the weather/road conditions.

· Current Department of Transportation Medical Card 

· Follow all safety policies and procedures.

· Adhere to all DOT regulations.

Requirements

· High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred but not required.

· Valid Class A or B commercial driver’s license required.

· 6+ months of driving a tractor-trailer or large truck a plus.

· Clean driving record with no moving violations.

· Experience operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, Moffets and pallet jacks a plus

· Able to lift to 50 pounds.

· Must pass a background check and drug test.
