Electrician - Physical Plant

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Electrician performs electrical work for new construction and renovation projects and carries out corrective and preventive maintenance on facility electrical systems and equipment.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent, required
• At least one (1) year experience in an industrial maintenance environment or as a construction electrician, required
• Ability to design and install simple control systems, preferred
• Experience in installing, maintaining and troubleshooting 480V, 3 phase electrical distribution systems, preferred

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid state driver’s license
• Must have good driving record
• Must be able to communicate effectively
• Ability to work independently

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, and twist for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
• Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and overhead reaching
• Constant communication in person and by phone

Monday - Friday, 7:00AM - 4:00PM
