POSITION SUMMARY:

 

The Receptionist/Patient Accounts Representative (Receptionist/PAR) functions as an intermediary between staff, patients, peers, and visitors.  The Receptionist/PAR is responsible for maintaining the organization of the medical office by performing various administrative and clerical tasks essential to the provision of efficient and effective care. The Receptionist/PAR is also responsible for the registration of new patients, insurance verification and account counseling.

 

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent, required
  • Experience counting money accurately, required
  • Experience as a receptionist, patient account representative or similar role, preferred

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Strong discretion and ability to handle confidential information
  • Composure in fast‑paced, high‑pressure environments
  • Willingness and ability to learn new technologies
  • Dependable, punctual, and highly detail‑oriented
  • Strong multitasking and independent‑work capabilities

  • Accurate documentation skills
  • Ability to follow established workflows consistently

 

 

WORK SCHEDULE:

 

(Rotating schedule)

 

Week One: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday 8:00AM – 8:00PM and Sunday 1:00PM – 8:00PM

 

Week Two: Wednesday and Thursday, 8:00AM – 8:00PM
