Enterprise Compliance Analyst

Position Summary: The Compliance Analyst supports the design, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing effectiveness of Grand Bank for Savings, FSB’s (the “Bank”) Compliance Management System (“CMS”). The position provides analytical, monitoring, testing, documentation, and reporting support across the Bank’s consumer compliance, fair lending, BSA/AML, OFAC, credit card, digital banking, deposit, lending, and payment activities.

The Compliance Analyst assists the Chief Compliance Officer and other compliance officers in identifying, evaluating, monitoring, and escalating compliance risk; maintaining policies and procedures; supporting regulatory change management; reviewing products, disclosures, marketing, and customer communications; tracking corrective actions; and preparing for audits and regulatory examinations. The position will have particular responsibilities relating to BSA/AML and OFAC, the Credit Card Accountability Responsibility and Disclosure Act of 2009 (“CARD Act”), Regulation Z, Regulation E, Fair Lending laws and regulations, UDAAP, ACH/NACHA requirements, and the Bank’s national credit card program.

The successful candidate must be detail-oriented, analytical, comfortable working across multiple compliance disciplines, and able to balance regulatory requirements with practical business operations and thoughtful customer service. The Compliance Analyst reports to the Bank’s Chief Compliance Officer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Compliance Management System and Consumer Compliance

  • Assist with the administration and continuous improvement of the Bank’s CMS, including risk assessments, policies and procedures, training, monitoring, testing, complaint management, issue tracking, corrective actions, and reporting.
  • Perform or assist with risk-based compliance monitoring and testing across deposits, lending, digital banking, ACH and payment services, marketing, servicing, and credit card activities; document scope, methodology, findings, and conclusions.
  • Assist with fair lending monitoring, comparative analyses, data validation, and periodic reviews to support the Bank's Fair and Responsible Banking Program.
  • Track identified compliance issues, management commitments, and corrective action plans; follow up with responsible business units and escalate overdue or insufficient remediation to the Chief Compliance Officer.
  • Support regulatory change management by monitoring new and amended laws, regulations, guidance, and enforcement activity; assist with impact assessments, implementation plans, policy updates, and communication to affected business units.
  • Assist with the review and maintenance of compliance policies, procedures, forms, disclosures, scripts, notices, and customer communications to promote consistency with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Review advertising and marketing materials for compliance with applicable consumer protection requirements, Bank policy, and approval procedures; maintain appropriate review documentation.
  • Monitor complaint management and perform root cause analysis, including review of customer complaints received directly, through regulators, or through third-party service providers; identify trends, escalate potential systemic issues, and verify implementation of corrective actions.
  • Assist with consumer compliance risk assessments and periodic reporting to management committees, Board committees, and the Board of Directors.


  • Coordinate compliance documentation and responses for internal audits, independent reviews, regulatory examinations, and other assurance activities; assist with tracking and validating remediation.
  • Support compliance due diligence and ongoing oversight of third-party service providers, affiliates, fintech partners, processors, and other vendors whose activities create consumer compliance or financial crime risk.

Credit Card and CARD Act Compliance

  • Assist with compliance oversight of the Bank's national credit card program throughout the product lifecycle, including application and solicitation, underwriting support, account opening, activation, pricing, fees, servicing, payments, disputes, credit line management, collections, charge-offs, and account closure.
  • Review credit card disclosures, agreements, periodic statement content, notices, scripts, marketing, rewards materials, and customer communications for compliance with the CARD Act, the Truth in Lending Act (TILA) and Regulation Z, UDAAP, and applicable Bank requirements.
  • Assist with monitoring and testing of credit card practices, including annual percentage rates, penalty pricing, fees, payment allocation, due dates, minimum payments, ability-to-pay requirements, change-in-terms notices, billing error resolution, and other CARD Act and Regulation Z requirements.
  • Assist with monitoring of account management practices, including line increases, decreases, re-aging, hardship programs, payment accommodations, and other servicing activities.
  • Monitor credit card complaints, disputes, error claims, fee reversals, servicing activity, and customer outcomes for trends or potential compliance concerns; escalate material issues and support remediation.
  • Assist with oversight of credit card servicers, third-party service providers, call centers, marketing partners, and other third parties, including review of monitoring results, quality control, complaints, performance reporting, and corrective actions.
  • Perform validation of credit card controls, operational procedures, training materials, and system changes before and after implementation.

BSA/AML, OFAC, and Fraud Support

  • Assist with monitoring the Bank’s BSA/AML, OFAC, U.S. PATRIOT Act, customer identification, customer due diligence, enhanced due diligence, and financial crime compliance programs in coordination with the BSA/AML & Fraud Officer.
  • Review transaction monitoring and fraud alerts, customer activity, deposits, wires, ACH transactions, cash activity, credit card activity, and other higher-risk transactions; document research, conclusions, and escalation
  • Assist with Suspicious Activity Report (“SAR”) investigations and Currency Transaction Report (“CTR”) preparation, review, documentation, filing, and record retention in accordance with regulatory deadlines and Bank procedures.
  • Assist with customer risk assessments, KYC/CIP validation, beneficial ownership requirements, high-risk customer reviews, 314(a) searches, and other required BSA/AML processes.
  • Monitor OFAC and sanctions-related alerts and coordinate escalation, blocking or rejection decisions, reporting, and recordkeeping as directed by the BSA/AML & Fraud Officer.
  • Analyze transaction monitoring, fraud, ACH return, dispute, loss, and suspicious activity data to identify emerging risks, control weaknesses, or trends requiring further review.
  • Assist with maintenance and validation of financial crime monitoring systems and related procedures, including data quality, alert disposition, user access, and documentation controls.

Digital Banking, ACH, and Payment Compliance

  • Assist with compliance monitoring and review of digital account opening, online and mobile banking, electronic funds transfers, ACH services, debit and credit card activity, and related customer disclosures and


  • Review compliance with Regulation E, applicable Regulation Z requirements, NACHA Operating Rules, and Bank procedures, including error resolution, unauthorized transaction claims, ACH return activity, and customer notice requirements.
  • Assist with compliance review of online account opening, electronic disclosures, digital authentication, consent processes, and customer journeys.
  • Review ACH return rates, return reason codes, unauthorized activity, and fraud trends; escalate potential threshold, control, or customer-impact concerns in accordance with Bank policy.
  • Assist with reviews of new products, services, system changes, workflows, and customer journeys to identify and address compliance requirements before implementation.

Training, Reporting, and General Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, develop, deliver, or assist with delivery, documentation, and tracking of compliance training for employees, management, the Board, and affected third parties.
  • Prepare clear and accurate compliance reports, dashboards, testing summaries, issue updates, and supporting documentation for the Chief Compliance Officer, management committees, and Board committees.
  • Communicate effectively with branch, operations, lending, servicing, digital banking, marketing, information technology, finance, legal, risk, and executive leadership personnel.
  • Maintain organized and complete compliance records in accordance with Bank policy and applicable retention
  • Stay informed regarding regulatory developments, industry practices, examination trends, and emerging risks relevant to the Bank’s products, delivery channels, and strategic initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant banking or compliance experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in banking compliance, consumer compliance, BSA/AML, credit card compliance, compliance testing, audit, risk management, or a related financial services function; 5 years
  • Working knowledge of consumer compliance and CMS principles, including risk assessments, monitoring, testing, issue management, complaint management, training, and regulatory change management.
  • Working knowledge of the BSA/AML framework, OFAC, S. PATRIOT Act, KYC/CIP, customer due diligence, SARs, CTRs, and applicable FFIEC and FinCEN guidance.
  • Knowledge of the CARD Act, TILA and Regulation Z, Regulation E, UDAAP, and credit card lifecycle requirements strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Compliance Management System principles and FFIEC compliance
  • Experience with digital banking, ACH processing, NACHA rules, payment systems, credit card servicing, or financial crime monitoring preferred.
  • Compliance certification such as CRCM, CAMS, CAFP, or comparable credential preferred, or willingness to pursue an appropriate certification.
  • Strong analytical, investigative, documentation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and clearly explain conclusions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, maintain confidentiality, and exercise sound judgment with limited supervision.


  • Experience using GRC platforms, case management systems, or compliance monitoring software
