Sonic Summary

The Imaging Department is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI exams and related activities under the direction of the Lead MRI Technologist.
Candidates should have one to three years of experience in MRI or three to five years in CT scans, along with A.R.R.T. certification in MRI.
Mandatory qualifications include a high school diploma, graduation from an A.R.R.T. accredited X-Ray Technology school, and A.R.R.T. registration in radiography.
The position requires current Mississippi State Board of Health registration as a Medical Radiation Technologist and CPR certification for healthcare workers.
The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with varying hours from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM, including 10-hour shifts and a Saturday rotation.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Imaging Department MRI Technologist under general direction of the Lead MRI Technologist performs MRI exams and related activities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

One to three years experience performing MRI and/or three to five years experience performing CT scans; strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy; A.R.R.T. certification in MRI.

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS:

High school education or equivalent; graduation from an A.R.R.T. accredited school of X-Ray Technology; A.R.R.T. registration in radiography; current Mississippi State Board of Health registration as a Medical Radiation Technologist; CPR for health care workers; ability to work independently and with limited supervision.

WORK SCHEDULE:

Monday - Friday, hours vary from 6:30AM - 6:30PM with 10-hour shifts to include a Saturday rotation
