POSITION SUMMARY:
Â
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing safe, effective and compassionate care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. The RN is also responsible for pre-procedure, intra procedure, and post procedure assessments.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Â
- Graduation certificate from an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program, required
- Current MS state licensure, required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), required
- Completion of Moderate Sedation course, required
- Minimum of one to two (1-2) years of nursing experience, with prior experience in endoscopy, perioperative, critical care, or procedural areas, preferred
- Proficient at patient assessment, vital sign monitoring, IV insertions, and administering Moderate Sedation

4 10 hour days
