POSITION SUMMARY:
Â
The Ultrasound Technologist, under the direction of the Radiologist, performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures requiring independent judgement, ingenuity, and initiative.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Â
Formal training indicated by graduation from an approved ARRT school of radiologic technology, registration with ARRT, current Mississippi State license, and/ or graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program with American Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) licensure. One to two years on the job experience as an ultrasound technologist is preferred but not required.
