The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures under the direction of a Radiologist.
Candidates must have formal training from an approved ARRT school or an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program, along with ARRT registration and a current Mississippi State license.
One to two years of experience as an ultrasound technologist is preferred but not mandatory.
The work schedule is Monday to Friday, PRN, with varying hours.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Ultrasound Technologist, under the direction of the Radiologist, performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures requiring independent judgement, ingenuity, and initiative.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Formal training indicated by graduation from an approved ARRT school of radiologic technology, registration with ARRT, current Mississippi State license, and/ or graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program with American Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) licensure. One to two years on the job experience as an ultrasound technologist is preferred but not required.

WORK SCHEDULE:

Monday - Friday, PRN, hours vary
