POSITION SUMMARY:

The Radiology Scheduling Coordinator performs a variety of administrative and patient‑facing duties, including general office tasks, greeting patients, receiving written orders from physician offices for Radiology procedures, scheduling patient appointments in the appropriate order, and providing preparation instructions to patients and providers prior to examinations. The Scheduling Coordinator also answers phones, manages multiple work queues to schedule appointments, and places appointment reminder calls. In addition, Scheduling Coordinators are trained to perform receptionist duties, including checking patients in for their procedures, directing patients to and from the lab, and assisting with phone coverage.

- High school diploma or equivalent, required

- Composure in fast‑paced, high‑pressure environments
- Willingness and ability to learn new technologies
- Dependable, punctual, and highly detail‑oriented
- Strong multitasking and independent‑work capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Accurate documentation skills
- Ability to follow established workflows consistently
- Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
