Warehouse Clerk - Purchasing

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Warehouse Clerk will unload, check-in and systematically receive all items delivered to warehouse location; this will include local truck and van deliveries as well as freight-line deliveries; stock shelves, pull items to be delivered to various Hattiesburg Clinic locations; clean, sweep, take out trash and straighten up warehouse and parking area; count inventory, file tickets and packing slips and process returns.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: 

• High school diploma or equivalent, required
• Two (2) years of experience in a warehouse environment, preferred
• Previous experience in an automated inventory management system, preferred

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Must have strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Must have basic to intermediate computer skills

• Must be able to lift and carry materials weighing up to 45 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
• Must be willing to work in a warehouse environment, which is not 100% climate controlled.

WORK SCHEDULE:

Monday - Friday, 7:00AM - 4:00PM
