 POSITION SUMMARY
Â
 The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe operation of powered industrial equipment and the movement, storage, receiving, shipping, and inventory control of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.
Â
 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Â
 • Operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
 • Load and unload trailers, trucks, and delivery vehicles.
 • Receive, inspect, store, and move raw materials, ingredients, packaging materials, and finished goods.
 • Stage materials for production and shipping activities.
 • Perform inventory transactions and material movements within NetSuite.
 • Utilize RF scanners and inventory management systems.
 • Support cycle counts, inventory audits, and inventory accuracy initiatives.
 • Follow product hold, segregation, traceability, and inventory control procedures.
 • Maintain warehouse organization and housekeeping standards.

 FOOD SAFETY & QUALITY RESPONSIBILITIES
Â
 • Follow GMP, HACCP, SQF, FSMA, Food Defense, Food Fraud, Allergen Control, Traceability, and Sanitation Program requirements.
 • Ensure materials are handled, stored, and transported in a manner that maintains food safety and product integrity.
 • Immediately report food safety, quality, inventory, traceability, or product integrity concerns.

 AUTHORITY AND RESPONSIBILITY
Â
 • Stop movement of damaged, questionable, or suspect materials.
 • Segregate damaged, non-conforming, or hold product in accordance with procedures.
 • Escalate food safety, quality, inventory, traceability, and safety concerns.
 • Stop operation of powered industrial equipment when safety concerns exist.

 QUALIFICATIONS
Â
 • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
 • Previous forklift operation experience required.
 • Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory control, or food manufacturing experience preferred.

 COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
Â
 Employees must demonstrate competency through a combination of education, experience, training, observation, testing, performance evaluation, and on-the-job verification.

 TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
Â
 The Forklift Operator must successfully complete all required company orientation, food safety, quality, regulatory, safety, and job-specific training programs as assigned.

 PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Â
 • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
 • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally.
 • Ability to operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment safely.

 WORK ENVIRONMENT

 Work is performed in warehouse, distribution, and manufacturing environments.
