Position Summary
The Project Coordinator (Entry-Level)is an entry-level member of the Project Management Office (PMO) and provides foundational administrative and execution support to project teams delivering IT installation, upgrade, and deployment initiatives. This role is designed to develop core project management skills while supporting standardized PMO processes, documentation, scheduling, logistics coordination, and client reporting.
Salary: 45,000-50,000
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update project schedules, trackers, and documentation in accordance with PMO standards
- Update and manage project logs, including action items, risks, issues, and dependencies
- Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes
- Support assignment, scheduling, and follow-up of field resources (technicians, vendors) to ensure timely execution of project activities
- Track shipments, equipment movement, and installation status across project sites
- Support data collection and validation for internal and client-facing reporting
- Escalate data discrepancies, risks, or issues to project leadership as needed
- Adhere to PMO governance, processes, and reporting requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent education and experience
- 0–2 years of experience in project coordination, operations, or administrative support
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic reporting tools
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-up skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a PMO team
Preferred
- Exposure to IT deployments, installations, or field operations
- Familiarity with basic project management concepts and terminology
- Interest in pursuing a career path within project management or the PMO
