Direct Hire Respiratory Therapist Role in Norristown, Pennsylvania

This is a DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY.
Key Responsibilities for the Respiratory Therapist:
路 Administer therapeutic respiratory care procedures according to hospital and department policies.
路 Complete documentation that is required to measure, monitor, and ensure department effectiveness
路 Perform diagnostic respiratory procedures according to hospital and department policies.
路 Provides instruction to patients and other members of the healthcare team as needed.
Key Requirements for the Respiratory Therapist:
路 Associates/ 2 year degree
路 Professional competency in the science of Respiratory Care commensurate with the NBRC credential
路 Graduate of an AMA approved school of respiratory care
路 Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care
路 Licensed by the State Board of Medicine OR State Board of Osteopathic Medicine
路 Must have BCLS/ BLS certification
路 ACLS and/or NALS preferred
路 Prior experience preferred
Compensation and Schedule for the Respiratory Therapist:
路 Hourly rates dependent on certification (CRT or RRT) as well as years of experience
路 Comprehensive benefits plan
路 Full time
路 Night shift (3, 12 hour shifts, with rotating weekends)
