Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedJob Location: Haverhill MA - Haverhill, MA 01832Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $30.00 - $58.61 HourlyTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: 1st ShiftPosition Overview:  A maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) buyer is responsible for preparing and issuing purchase orders for products and services that are used to maintain and fix broken machines. The job requires regular interaction with the plant staff to know what supplies are required, although the majority of the job is done in solitude and on the computer. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Manage all purchasing and distribution aspects while considering cost-effective solutions. Communicate with the client, foster a team atmosphere, and report on progress. Assess purchase orders for accuracy and compliance with regulations. Receive price quotes from vendors, compare quotes against requirements and the budget, and purchase orders via fax or computer. Collaborate and communicate effectively across different organizational levels, functions, businesses, and geographies to realize procurement goals and objectives. Manage the day-to-day business relationship with key suppliers through supporting activities, including ordering, communication of demand/ volume/ delivery time changes, issue resolution, sharing of end-user feedback, follow-up on backorders, etc.  Develop a strong understanding and knowledge of suppliers and capabilities. Assist with contract development and execution  Manage supplier relationships to ensure continuity of goods and services that meet the quality, service, and price  performance standards of the company Identifying, prioritizing, and impacting key business opportunities  Working with stakeholders and leadership teams to implement and enforce policies that increase spending visibility and compliance. The Ideal Candidate will have the Following QualificationsEducation and Experience:  •    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers •    Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) •    Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary service •    College degree (Associate / Bachelor) in related fields preferred •    5+ years’ experience •    Able to multitask and work independently  •    In-depth understanding of MRO  •    Work effectively in a fast-paced environment   •    Ability to work overtime when necessary, including weekends and off shifts Competencies and Skills:     •    Strong verbal and written communication skills.  •    Excellent organizational and time management abilities.  •    Strong attention to detail and accuracy.  •    Analytical and problem-solving skills.  •    Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.  Physical Demands: The physical requirements listed in this section include, but are not limited, to the motor/physical abilities and skills require of position in order to successfully undertake the essential duties and responsibilities of this position. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tool, or controls; reach with hands and arms. This role will require extended hours based on production needs, including work to be performed after regular business hours and on weekends. Employees must be at least 18 years of age to be eligible for employment at Monogram Foods.  Work Environment and Personal Protective Equipment: Work Environment: •    Stand on concrete. •    Ambient temperatures. •    Work alone.
