As our staff nurse, you will support the wellbeing of 4 - 5 individuals in a group home setting by assisting with clinical assessments, administering medications, providing treatments, and educating direct support professional on personal care. Perform daily health assessments for all assigned individuals. Ensure safe and effective personal care, including bathing, feeding, and mobility support. Provide skilled nursing care as prescribed by healthcare providers. Train and support staff in: Medical protocols, personal care techniques, specific treatments, healthy lifestyle practices. Additional Responsibilities: Accompany individuals on community outings and medical appointments. Assess medical equipment for safety, functionality, and appropriateness. Maintain and update medical records accurately and in a timely manner. Order medication and inventory when needed. Review medication administration records and other medical documentation for accuracy and compliance. Qualifications: Current Massachusetts LPN or RN license in good standing Experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities is a plus. Candidates must be able to read, write, and comprehend English to accurately follow care plans, document services provided, and communicate effectively with individuals, families, and healthcare professionals. Organizational skills, computer literacy and the ability to document electronically. The ability to travel within the service area of residential programs and medical appointments. Valid driver’s license in good standing and a minimum of one year of driving experience; must be able to drive wheelchair-accessible vans.
