About the role

The Clerk-Biller is responsible for billing primary and secondary insurances for Professional Services. They will resolve denials for Medicare and Medicaid as well as follow up on accounts when balances are in Medicare or Medicaid.

The Clerk-Biller will be responsible for ensuring correct billing for all payers and assist with denials related to billing for all other payers.


Qualifications

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Keyboarding minimum of 50 WPM
  • Knowledge of 10 key
  • Ability to comprehend, retain and apply given information
  • Experience or basic knowledge of CPT and ICD coding helpful but not necessary.
  • Experience in medical billing helpful but not necessary.

Starting pay range varies based on experience up to 10 years.
