Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Control in Lewisport, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will help manage access control, monitor activity, and conduct routine patrols to help support a secure environment. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, maintain access logs, and report unusual activity or access concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and supporting security-related protocols for restricted and high-traffic areas.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, and key access points, helping to deter unauthorized entry and identifying conditions that may require attention.
• Communicate with site personnel regarding deliveries, contractor arrivals, and/or operational access needs while supporting security-related procedures and maintaining professional interactions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an EMT certification.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
