Job description:

The Arc Westchester, a leading social services agency dedicated to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, is seeking a meticulous and experienced Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join our Finance Department. Reporting directly to the Accounts Receivable Supervisor, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to the agency’s mission by performing key accounting functions. This position is in-office.

Responsibilities for AR Coordinator Include:

Comprehensive billing for agency programs
Payment application
Daily deposits
Maintain audit workpapers in excel; calculate rate changes
Run aging detail and follow up on unpaid invoices
Journal entries
Monthly closing
Gathering support for external audit

Job Requirements / Qualifications:

Associate Degree in Accounting or related field
Must be a team player
2 years of related experience preferred
Excellent attendance/dependability
Strong excel and computer skills required
General accounting/bookkeeping knowledge required
Ability to work under pressure/multi-task
Strong interpersonal/communication skills
Ability to meet deadlines
