Overview

To administrate the Culinary Innovation Center and properly maintain organization and support needs of the PBUS CULINARY/Mixology team.


Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Perform all activities in a safe manner and within the context of all Pepsico and ServSafe safety protocols.
  • Accurately clean and organize the CIC according to priorities.
  • Support Chefs and Mixologist in “mise en place” and CIC management.
  • Coordinate ingredient sourcing for Culinary and Mixology requirements. 
  • Thoroughly document cleaning procedures and maintenance.  
  • Maintain and document CIC inventory.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and calibration of CIC equipment.
  • Provide special support for events and presentation.

Key Challenges

  • Ability to manage and learn a wide variety of ingredient  and sample characteristics for Front end Innovation and Brand activation.
  • Ability to manage multiple request and tasks to support the individuals of the workgroup, manage time and expectations for group needs. Effectively communicate conflict of requests.
  • Ability to work in and manage a kitchen environment, with responsibilities in maintaining equipment, ingredients, and raw materials.
  • Be able to manage, prioritize, and maintain strong working relationship across different partners within Global R&D

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $50,500 - $80,600.

Qualifications

Required:

  • High school degree/GED.

Desired:

  • Multinational Food Industry Company experience(s) at a consumer goods company
  • Culinary experience in restaurants, or hotel industry. (Work in food and beverage industry a plus).
  • Familiarity with common kitchen instruments and food preparation equipment.

  • Ability to flawlessly execute bench work according to high standards of food preparation.
  • Must be proactive, reliable, and self-motivated.
  • Must possess good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to proactively and positively interface with various R&D functions.
  • Must be well organized, capture work details and learning and highlight any unexpected learning.
  • Must possess ability to work successful in cross-functional teams.
