Job Description

  

Support precision manufacturing for advanced switching solutions! Teledyne Relays is seeking a Plating Technician to maintain production requirements and ensure quality standards. In this role, you’ll perform plating and cleaning operations, maintain chemical baths, and follow strict safety protocols.

What you’ll do

  • Plate and clean components per process specifications, including degreasing and header, cover, and diode cleaning lines.
  • Prepare acid and alkaline solutions and maintain rinse waters daily.
  • Monitor and maintain process bath levels while adhering to safety procedures.
  • Perform housekeeping and administrative tasks, including maintaining logs for temperature, filter, and chemical usage.
  • Report issues to the process control lab and supervisor.
  • Inspect work to ensure compliance with quality and customer specifications.
  • Use micrometers, microscopes, and computers for measurements and documentation.
  • Perform equipment maintenance and keep work areas clean.

What you need

  • High school diploma or GED (preferred).
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and short correspondence.
  • Basic arithmetic skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience using micrometers, microscopes, and basic computer applications.
  • Must be a U.S. Person (includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees) (required).

Salary Range:

$34,300.00-$45,700.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
