Job Summary: The HR/Payroll Coordinator supports the daily operations of the Human Resources department, with primary responsibility for accurate and timely payroll processing, recruitment and onboarding coordination, and HR administrative support.  This position maintains payroll, applicant, and employee records; assists with pre-employment requirements, orientation, and hiring documentation; supports HRIS and payroll data entry and reporting; and provides first-line assistance to employees on routine HR and payroll matters.  The HR/Payroll Coordinator handles confidential information with discretion and works closely with the HR Manager, department leaders, employees, and external partners to help ensure efficient, compliant, and well-organized HR and payroll processes.  Job Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous payroll processing experience required. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Ability to organize work, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Working knowledge of office software and ability to learn payroll, HRIS, and applicant tracking systems. Ability to follow established processes and know when to elevate questions or concerns. Preferred Qualifications: Previous human resources support, recruiting/onboarding coordination, or office administrative experience preferred. Healthcare experience preferred. Experience with payroll systems, HRIS, and Microsoft Excel preferred. Benefits at Haxtun Health: We value our employees and offer a comprehensive benefits package: Health Insurance: Haxtun Health covers 100% of employee only premiums for all health insurance plans. Paid Time Off (PTO): Accrued at approximately 17 days for the first year of employment for hourly employees and 22 days for the first year of employment for salaried employees. PTO accrual increases as your length of service increases. This includes holidays. Sick Leave: Up to 48 hours per year. Retirement Plan: Up to a 3% employer match, which increases with your length of service. New employees are automatically enrolled at a 1% contribution rate (can be opted out). Employees must complete 5 years of employment to be 100% vested. Employee Health Payment Match: Haxtun Health matches employee payments up to $1,000 per year per family for services received at Haxtun Health’s hospital or clinics. Family and Medical Leave Insurance Program (FAMLI): Haxtun Health participates in the CO FAMLI program, which is a social insurance program that provides up to 12 weeks of paid leave for qualifying life events. Term Life Insurance: 1 x annual salary term life provided by HHD, no employee premium ($200,000 Max.). Additional voluntary life insurance coverage for the employee and family is an option which can be purchased by the employee.
