Full Time Non CDL Driver

Watkins Distributing is a family-owned and family-operated beverage distribution company that has proudly served communities across Idaho and Montana for four generations.

Job Summary:
The Non-CDL Driver services an assigned route by delivering, stocking, and merchandising the company's beverage products at customer locations.

This is a seasonal position that will run until September 25th.

The schedule consists of five 8-hour shifts per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the designated delivery route safely and efficiently while following all traffic laws and company policies.
• Unload product from the delivery vehicle using a pallet jack and/or hand truck.
• Confirm deliveries with store personnel and check in all merchandise upon arrival.
• Verify order accuracy by checking quantities and obtaining customer signatures.
• Stock cooler space, shelf space, and promotional displays at each account.
• Rotate stock according to company freshness and merchandising guidelines.
• Collect empty keg shells, damaged goods, and incorrectly ordered items for return credit.
• Gather invoices and complete all required daily route paperwork.
• Stay in close communication with sales representatives and retail account contacts.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.

Preferred Skills & Abilities:

• Previous delivery driving experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record and no major traffic violations.
• Able to safely handle a fully loaded hand truck.
• Comfortable operating handheld computers and route management devices.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

• Must be able to routinely lift and move beverage cases weighing 20–30 lbs., and lift up to 160 lbs. to waist height. The role requires frequent bending, squatting, reaching, and standing for long periods.
• Work is carried out independently while serving multiple retail accounts each day.
• Must be able to operate a delivery vehicle safely across varying weather and road conditions.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
