True North Hotel Group, an award-winning management and development company, is seeking a Housekeeping Inspector to join our team at Holiday Inn Express in Hays, KS. We offer awesome benefits and a great family culture.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inspect guest rooms, public and pool areas after being cleaned by housekeeping staff to ensure quality standards.
  • Run sold room reports, verify room status, determine discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning and update status of departing guest rooms.
  • Inventory of supply closets.
  • Assist with monthly linen order.
  • Walk all vacant ready rooms daily.
  • Performs room attendant duties and responsibilities when necessary.
  • Go into checkout rooms still in house daily at 12 noon following Huddle.
  • Act as a liaison to coordinate efforts of housekeeping, engineering, front office, and laundry.
  • Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the front desk.
  • Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in assignment sheets/work boards.
  • Communicate issues to next shift.
  • Complete required paperwork in a timely manager.
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
  • Complete safety training and certifications.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.


QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • High School GED or Equivalent
  • Minimum 1-year relevant experience
