Eagle Media of Hays is looking for a full-time, On-Air talent and Programmer to join our team! We are a locally focused media company dedicated to keeping our community informed, connected and engaged through radio, digital and local news.
This position is scheduled Monday through Friday 9am to 6pm, with occasional evening and weekend hours needed.
What your job includes:
- Hosting on-air shifts
- Fill in on morning shows (live and/or recorded)
- Produce and edit commercial and promotional audio
- Record clients and assist in developing effective messaging
- Manage dubbing and organization of commercial content
- Assist with severe weather coverage and local broadcast production
- Support studio production for local sports broadcasts
- Contribute creative ideas for programming and promotions

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Creative thinker with passion for radio and local content
- Basic audio production and editing skills
- Flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced, live broadcast environment

Compensation:
Compensation is commensurate with experience along with a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k), paid vacation and Employee Stock Ownership Plan.
