We are seeking a dependable and safety-driven Class A Delivery Driver to join our team out of the Hayward Shop. This position offers a dynamic mix of local routes operating both Class A commercial vehicles and standard company vehicles. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting our operations across jobsites and facilities. Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Provide reliable delivery of materials between company offices, jobsites and suppliers by following written and routine delivery instructions.

Operate company vehicles safely, including operation of Class A commercial vehicles to transport materials and equipment.
Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations and company safety standards at all times.
Load, secure, transport and unload materials in a safe and timely manner.
Take delivery orders over the phone or through text message.
Work efficiently to meet delivery schedules and project timelines.
Follow direction and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
Communicate effectively with coworkers, management and suppliers.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of driving experience, Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred.
Towing experience is preferred.
Ability to operate company vehicles (truck, van and Class A vehicles) for extended periods in varying conditions.
Strong understanding of safe driving practices and applicable DOT regulations.
Clear, respectful and effective communication/interactions with internal and external personnel.
Proficient with smartphone, GPS systems and map applications; ability to plan efficient routes.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and prioritize effectively.

Additional Requirements

Required to possess and maintain valid, clean Class A California Driver’s License.
Required to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
If needed, available for overtime on weekdays and weekends.
Physical requirements: Lift and carry minimum 50 pounds, standing, driving for long periods of time.

Total compensation package includes the following:

Pay (base salary) from $28/hour (depending on qualifications)
