Job Summary
We are looking to hire a Registered Dental Hygienist. We are a fun, dynamic office looking to add a friendly, positive RDH to the team to help provide our patients with quality treatment and positive experiences. If you’re friendly, outgoing, and committed to creating a fantastic dental experience, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable
- Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have
- Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures
- Take vital signs and accurately record medical histories
- Perform preliminary exams and collect oral health histories
- Evaluate patients for signs of gum disease, cavities, and infection
- Remove plaque and apply fluoride treatments
- Teach good oral hygiene techniques
- Create dental impressions
- Take x-rays
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies
Qualifications
- Current Dental Hygienist licensure
- 1-2 years of experience in dental hygiene preferred
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelines
- Able to stand for extended periods and bend repeatedly
- Excellent communication and customer service skills

It is important to us that patients have access to quality dental care within our small communities. We strive to have a team of general dentists who can provide specialty care in rural areas. Doctor Laura has advanced expertise in tooth extractions and offers CBCT-guided endodontic procedures at our Hayward location. Doctor Ethan Lawler specializes in implant placements, 3D printing, and full-mouth reconstruction cases. We are excited to announce the addition of Doctor Lauren Poppe to our team in Lake Nebagamon. Doctor Duffy is excited to keep stepping away towards retirement and working one day a week at our Hayward location. All four doctors are excited to see whether our office will be a good fit for you!

We have a functional in-house dental laboratory at our Lake Nebagamon location. This laboratory addition drastically shortens delivery wait times and allows the application of knowledge needed to complete more complex dental cases.
