About the Role:

Join Skilled Nursing Pharmacy as a Per-Diem Pharmacy Technician and play a vital role in delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care. This position offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our patients in Hayward, CA.

Schedule:
- Start times may vary as we are a 24 hour operation.
- Requirement is for 3 times per week.

Responsibilities:

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications.
Maintain accurate medication records and patient profiles.
Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare staff.
Manage inventory and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals.
Support medication therapy management initiatives.
Participate in quality assurance and compliance activities.
Handle prescription refills and medication orders efficiently.
Stay updated on industry trends and pharmacy regulations.

Requirements:

Current California Pharmacy Technician License required.
Previous pharmacy experience preferred, especially in skilled nursing settings.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Knowledge of pharmacy software and medication management systems.
Flexible availability to work on an as-needed basis.
