| Objective The Site Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a swine production site, ensuring efficiency, animal welfare, biosecurity, and compliance with company and industry standards. | Role and Responsibilities 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Oversee all aspects of swine production, including breeding, farrowing, nursery, and finishing, depending on the site type. 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensure appropriate, accurate inventory management of swine, semen ordering, feed, and supplies 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Monitor herd health, feed efficiency, and overall animal performance to meet production targets. 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Analyze Financial reporting and make appropriate adjustments to meet and/or exceed budget, conduct appropriate SOAP analysis where applicable 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Implement and enforce biosecurity protocols to prevent disease outbreaks. 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Maintain proper environmental conditions (temperature, ventilation, sanitation) for optimal animal welfare 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Supervise, train, and develop farm employees to ensure adherence to protocols and procedures, along with company policies. 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Complete policing routine to monitor protocols, and monitor production and efficiencies 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Organize work schedules and assign daily tasks to maximize efficiency. 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Foster a positive work environment that emphasizes teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement. 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Conduct interview process, employee performance evaluations, and provide coaching and feedback. 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Maintain accurate records related to production, health treatments, feed usage, and employee training. 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Participate in audits, inspections, and certification programs. 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Promote and enforce workplace safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries. 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing at all levels of farm involvement 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Provide consistent shareholder communication for pig delivers and vet recommendations | |||

| Qualifications and Education Requirements 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 High school diploma or GED required 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 聽2+ years of experience in swine production, with prior leadership or management experience preferred. 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Strong knowledge of swine production, herd health, and biosecurity practices. 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Leadership and team management skills with the ability to train and motivate employees. 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Strong organizational and record-keeping skills. | |||
